The first two matches this year had round totals of just under 100. Should I maintain this level or should I up the total an extra 20 rounds. Not sure how shooters are dealing with ammo prices and lack of reloading supplies. Thoughts and comments appreciated….either visible posts or PM..

We shooters have to accept that the cost to exercise our 2A rights is going to be two or three times more expensive than it was pre Biden and Covid. The price for raw materials - lead, copper, brass, sheet metal and the cost to move it is way high. It appears that there is plenty of ammo on the store shelves now but the price is three times what it was pre Biden and Covid -- the days off getting a box of 9mm ball for $6 gone forever. The "new normal" for 9mm ball will probably settle to be $15 per box. Primers have been "unobtanium" and when they are available go for 7 to 10 cents per primer. Again, the days of 3 cents per primer are over forever-- the 'new normal" for primers will probably settle to 7 or 8 cents when supply returns to normal (if ever).
Even cardboard targets are expensive -- Hank ordered 1,000 Regulation NRA AP-1 Targets for the Steamboat Challenge Action Pistol matches in August -- the price .83 cents per target --- BUT -- the cost to ship the targets from Minnesota to Cheyenne was $480.00! So it's more like $1.50 per target factoring the shipping cost. Attribute that to the high cost of diesel fuel and it will get worse before it gets better (if ever).
IMO upping the round count by 20 is reasonable, also, having .22 rimfire division is a good thing since .22 ammo is available and although high priced it's not nearly as bad as centerfire ammo.
