Help request. Recommendation. Does anyone recommend a specific timer for dry fire or solo live fire practice? Recommended source would also be appreciated. Want to be economical but value for cost is also a consideration. Thanks in advance.

After using most of the shot timers available, I've found two that I think are worth buying. Pact Club Timer 3 and the Pocket Pro 1 (not the 2). Both of them allow you to quickly and easily change the par time and have a intuitive interface. I personally have been using the Club Timer 5-7 times a week for the past 3 years and have only changed the battery once. Extreme heat and rain doesn't seem to bother it either. The other shot timers do not meet my needs for one reason or another. I think they're fine for occasional use and for running matches. However, when you need to constantly and quickly change par times, have it be durable, and don't want a rechargeable battery, the two I posted above are the only ones I've found to meet my needs. Occasionally I've seen MidwayUSA and benstoegerproshop.com have the Pocket Pro 1 on a really good sale. Pro-tip: When using indoors for dry fire, a few pieces of painter's tape over the buzzer make it useable indoors.
