NRA “Approved” Action Pistol matches will be conducted at the Rawlins, Wyoming Recreation Center Indoor Range on the following dates: (“Approved” match means scores are sent in to NRA for official classification in Action Pistol)
Saturday Dec 15
Saturday Jan 19
Saturday Feb 23 and Sunday Feb 24 (Silver Bullet Action Pistol Tournament)
Saturday March 16
Saturday April 20.
Start times are 8 AM
Shooting Program: Practical, Falling Plates, Combat, Los Alamitos.
The indoor range at the Rawlins Recreation Center 25 yards, well lit and ventilated with turning targets. The Plate rack is all steel plates with a shield over the top to prevent bullet frags from hitting the lights. For the 50 Yard stages of the Practical and Combat courses the reduced size AP-2 and B-18 targets are placed at 50 feet to simulate the 50 yard stages.
If driving from Cheyenne check the weather because part of the trip is along the notorious “Snow-Chi-Minh Trail" portion of Interstate 80 in the Arlington/Elk Mountain area.
