This gun just recently turned two years old and passed the 40,000 round mark. This gun has been through a lot including just surviving being owned by me (I’m not kind to guns). The gun has competed at local, regional, and national levels, including winning a few and placing relatively high at others. The gun has competed against the very best and even set a few national records. The gun even went the past 6 months with absolutely no maintenance other than being occasionally lubed, and probably over-lubed at that. It’s had parts break and sights fall off. Many various aftermarket parts have been put in only to be later replaced with the original factory part. Its aftermarket barrels have rejected many of my reloads and forced me to be better at the job. Every time I try to make the gun better it ends up showing me one way or another that it was never the gun at fault, except for the factory sights, they are literally the worst. I love this gun. I would run into a burning building to save her. Actually, on second thought, she would probably still work just fine, so never mind. And while it’s not the greatest gun out there, that would be the Glock 19, it’s just a really good one. So next time you see this gun wish her Happy Birthday.

Instead of cake, songs and gifts why don't you give her a bath, lube and not beat her against a bench to test her safties.

I love to see holster wear like that, shows that it's a "working" gun rather than a safe queen. Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday This is my Glock. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My Glock is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me, my Glock is useless. Without my Glock, I am useless. I must fire my Glock true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will…
My Glock and I know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit… My Glock is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my Glock kinda clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will…
Before God, I swear this creed. My Glock and I are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

Happy Birthday!
You think Glock will make a pre-worn finish for us next year?

You think Glock will make a pre-worn finish for us next year? I'm offering a new service. You provide the gun and ammo. One year later you get a "customized battle-worn" gun.
