Anyone zeroed a pistol with fixed sights before?
I know part of my poor accuracy is me, but I also noticed that my rear sight is drifted pretty far to the left.
Anyone have any pointers?

When adjusting sights, move the REAR sight in the direction that you want the group to go. So, if the gun is shooting to the left, move the REAR sight to the right.

That's what I've been finding, and makes sense compared to where the sight is currently, and my poi.

What issues are you having?

What issues are you having? No matter how much I focus on sight picture or trigger pull, I'm hitting pretty far left compared to my point of aim. At the same time, my rear sight (I've never adjusted it) is drifted all the way to the left side of the slide. I'm going to do some shooting off a bag, but I think the two are connected.

Sounds like centering your rear sight should straighten everything out for you. You could always have someone else shoot your gun to see if they're hitting way to the left as well. I've done this a bunch of times and it really helps to figure out if it's just you or the gun. Once I've zero'd a gun I like to run it through a course of fire to confirm. I've found that I can have a different POI during slow fire vs practical shooting and I'm not just talking about shooting low-left either (aka jerking the trigger). The Practical from NRA AP is a good COF to help confirm your zero. Just need two targets - 7.6 Practical Event- This event is divided into four stages. Each stage has three strings and 12 shots per stage. 48 shots: (a) 10 yards - one shot each target within three seconds, two shots each target within four seconds, and three shots each target eight seconds. (b) 15 yards - one shot each target within four seconds, two shots each within 5 seconds, and three shots each target within six seconds. (c) 25 yards - one shot each target five seconds, two shots each target six seconds, and three shots each target seven seconds. (d) 50 yards - one shot each target seven seconds, two shots each target ten seconds, and three shots each target fifteen seconds. rulebooks.nra.org/documents/pdf/compete/RuleBooks/Action/act-book.pdfJust FYI - Aftermarket barrels, barrel lock-up, bullet weights, different bullets, velocity, and even different primers can all affect point of impact.
