Anyone know how to get moly coat off of bullet? I picked some up and didn't realize they were coated.

I've heard of people tumbling coated bullets in corn cob media that's been soaked in mineral spirits. Is been so long since I heard about it that I dont remember how well it worked.

Never have done this myself but have heard that tumbling using stainless steel media removes the coating. Of course you need to spring for the SS media and tumbler first if you do not already have one.

That's what I don't want. I don't want to shoot them. Moly apparently stays in a barrel.
