Action Pistoleros and Pistoleras,
NRA Action Pistol “Approved” Match at Otto Rd Range, Saturday 17 June 2023. Mandatory safety meeting at 0845. Shooting starts at 0900. Match is open to NRA members and Non Members. Match fee is $25. If shooting a second gun additional $10 applies.
“Approved” means this match is sanctioned by NRA and scores are used for classification in the NRA Action Pistol sport. This is a great opportunity for new shooters to get classified and for classified shooters to improve on a current classification.

Competitive Divisions: Open, Metallic Sights, Production, Production Optics, Open Rimfire, Metallic Rimfire, Production Rimfire.
Course of Fire:
“Texas” Moving Target (48 shots)
“Los Alamitos” (42 Shots)
The Practical (48 Shots)
The Falling Plates (48 Shots)
Total of 186 shots fired maximum possible score 1860-186X
Mandatory equipment: eye and ear protection, belt, holster (which covers the trigger), pistol magazines with capacity of 12 or greater at least four (4), Magazines with capacity of 11 rounds or less at least eight (8) Revolvers bring at least eight (8) speedloaders or moonclips, or -- a loading block with at least four (4) speed loaders. The ‘Texas” Moving Target and the "Los Alamitos" event will require some reloads on the clock so its advisable to bring magazine or speed loader/moonclip carriers for the belt.
