I finally got a chance to run a load that was mentioned by Glen. I was having trouble with leading in my 9mm using cast bullets. I talked with Glen who has been experimenting with .358 sized lead bullets. He had some success with 125gr. Hi-Tek coated bullets sized to .358. I loaded up some Lee 124 tc tumble lube design bullets, powder coated with Harbor Freight Red, sized to .358. I put them on top of 4.2 Autocomp powder. Very pleased to see no lead at all after 200 rounds. I have run a similar load through my Smith & Wesson with no where near these results. Maybe the Springfield barrel is more friendly to lead. Either way, thanks Glen for doing all the hard work.

Glad you found something to work. I know it was frustrating for me at first never having had to deal with leading in my .45 Acp guns. Glad I could help.
