Was out at the range last week and noticed in one of the pistol bays this lovely piece. What the heck is wrong with some members of the Otto Road Shooting Range. Do they not understand the rule about bringing garbage to the range to use as targets and then leaving it behind so someone else can clean up their mess. I saw a sign at another range I frequent "if your mother picks up after you at home bring her to the range with you next time". I only wish I could have seen the people who brought this to the range and left it behind. I wonder how they would feel if they woke up one morning and found it in their front yard. Seems like some members are becoming increasingly lazy. I have been to long range some early mornings to find target stands still out at the berms with targets being ripped off from the wind and stuck along the east fence. I also know the last time we had a range clean up day two members showed up to clean, from a pool of close to 1,000 members. OK my rant for the day is done...

There needs to be more policing of members by members at Otto Road. People need to say something when they see others doing stuff like this. Someone brought cinder blocks to the long range, shot them up, and left them there. Same kind of activity happened on the Pawnee Grasslands, now we can't shoot there except for at the designated public shooting range, and only goes to 100 yards. Baker draw i believe is what it's called. It saddens me, and makes me angry when our fellow shooting sports enthusiasts act in this manner. They're the reason we shooters get a bad reputation with the public.
