How much hold for a 90 degree wind at 700 yards..... had a hard time just standing up trying to put the target racks back at 400 and 800 yards.

When I went out on Tuesday, I was having to hold anywhere from (1.6-2.4 mils) for wind at 1000 yds with my 6.5cm. It was a great day for some practice, but man that wind is frustrating as hell to shoot in!

Definitely not a match round for me, but I’d love to get a 26 or 28 nosler to really cut through that wind. That’d be the bees knees! As frustrating as the wind is out here, it does make for good practice. Hell, last season I was able to make a shot on a nice buck at 440 yds in stupid winds (25 mph sustained, 40+ mph gust) with a 308.

Could have shot him at 880 with a .260
